About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Dragline Operator to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Drills and Dragline team reporting directly to the Drills and Dragline Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
* Actively contributing to the success of the operation by ensuring that all tasks within your area of responsibility are carried out as required.
* Operating mining equipment including BE 2570 draglines, dozers and graders.
* Conducting pre-starts to ensure equipment is in a safe operational condition.
* Liaising with key personnel and sharing ideas for overall improvement outcomes.
* Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards.
About You
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an open‐cut coal mine.
* Previous experience and competencies operating Tier‐1 mining equipment.
* Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston.
* Proven problem‐solving skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
* Relevant experience with maintenance management systems.
