Ever rocked up to a site where the steel was crooked, half-tied, the formwork didn't line up, and nobody cared enough to fix it? Yeah, we don't do that here.
We run clean, well-sequenced jobs with good trades and solid communication. We're chasing a proper steel fixer / form worker — someone who knows how to read plans, set out reinforcement, build formwork, cut, bend, and tie steel so it's square, true, and ready for concrete. No shortcuts, no excuses — just quality work that stands the test of time.
This isn't for someone looking to clock off early or rush through the tough stuff. This is for a genuine tradesperson who understands reinforcing and formwork from start to finish. You solve problems on-site, take ownership of your work, and back yourself to get it right first time.
You've worked with steel before, tied plenty of reo cages, set out formwork, installed edgeboards, rebates, and below-ground systems, and probably dealt with tight access, awkward bends, or last-minute plan changes. And you nailed it — because without solid reinforcement and formwork, the whole pool falls apart.
You're not here to "make it work." You're here to do it properly — with a team that's invested in doing it right.
No bodgy ties, no "near enough is good enough" formwork.
This is high-end work on premium pools — and we're chasing someone with the pride, precision, and consistency to match that every day.
About Us:
We're not your average pool company.
We build custom concrete pools, not cookie-cutter fibreglass shells. Architects trust us. Builders choose us. Our work speaks for itself.
We partner with some of the best names in the industry, delivering premium pools focused on detail, design, and durability.
We don't do rushed jobs, dodgy fixes, or patch-ups.
We're a values-driven company with a clear mission: grow a tight, in-house crew of 20 absolute guns by 2030 — every one of them aligned to premium execution, no exceptions.
Our crew is sharp, drama-free, and backs each other every day.
You'll be stepping into a team where the leadership knows what it's like to be on the tools — and respects the trades that make everything work.
You'll have the gear, the support, and the freedom to do your job properly.
And when the job's done, you'll walk off site knowing everything's reinforced, square, and ready to pour.
About the Role:
* Cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel for pools to exact specifications — no sloppy ties, no missing bars.
* Interpret plans and construction drawings to ensure accuracy of placement.
* Install reo cages, chairs, and mesh so all steel is level, secure, and compliant.
* Set out formwork and levels from grid lines and datum points.
* Install edgeboard formwork, rebates, gutters, and below-ground systems.
* Dismantle and remove formwork safely once curing is complete.
* Prepare reinforcement and formwork for concrete pours, ensuring everything is braced, square, and built to last.
* Work closely with site supervisors, concreters, and other form workers to keep jobs on schedule.
* Maintain site safety and cleanliness, respecting both your crew and the client's property.
Who's This For?
* You've got experience as a steel fixer and/or form worker, ideally in pool or civil construction.
* You can read plans and set out cages and formwork without guesswork.
* You know your way around reo cutters, benders, tying tools, and formwork gear.
* You're fit, reliable, and not afraid of outdoor work in all weather.
* You've got your own basic tools (or close to it), a licence, a White Card, and a solid pair of work boots.
* You take pride in tight ties, true formwork, clean work, and a site that looks professional at the end of the day.
If That's You…
You'll get solid pay, consistent work, and a real team — not just a crew that "gets it done."
We don't do freeloaders. We don't do egos.
We do high-quality work with a tight crew that backs each other, shows up, and takes pride in every pool we build.
The projects are lined up. The diggers are ready. The team's prepped.
We just need a gun steel fixer / form worker who can match the standard.
If that's you — don't just hit "apply" and vanish.
Send us a photo of a job you've worked on — something that shows your reo ties, your formwork, your attention to detail, and a finished product you're proud of.
No photo, no job.
No real experience, no interview.
No generic cover letters.
We're not hiring admin — we're hiring someone who knows reinforcement and formwork are the backbone of every pool.
And if you think "she'll be right" is good enough, this ain't your gig.
Keep scrollin', cowboy.
