ABOUT THE ROLE
Apex Radiology is seeking an experienced full-time Booking Centre Supervisor to lead and support our patient bookings team. This role combines operational duties with staff supervision, ensuring efficient, patient-centered scheduling and excellent customer service.
Reporting to the Administration Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising the Booking Centre team including training, rostering, and workflow support.
* Handling escalated patient and referrer enquiries professionally.
* Maintaining operational workload by scheduling patient appointments and managing calls.
* Monitoring call volumes, wait times, and patient experience metrics.
* Ensuring accuracy of bookings, patient communication, and fee estimates.
* Supporting process improvements and workflow efficiency initiatives.
* Leading team meetings, ensuring key information regarding the bookings function is shared and understood.
* Supporting team members to meet necessary skill requirements, providing learning and development opportunities in collaboration with the Training Supervisor.
* Acting as the first contact for problem resolution regarding all queries relating to the Booking Centre.
* Serving as an escalation point for patient booking inquiries and resolving grievances or complaints.
* Liaising with technical and support staff regarding booked services to ensure smooth operations
ABOUT YOU
* Demonstrated experience in medical bookings, call centre, or customer service roles.
* Supervisory or leadership experience.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Ability to balance operational and supervisory responsibilities.

This is a FULL-TIME on-site role working Monday to Friday at our O'Connor site in Western Australia.
