**About the Role**:
You will join the Engineering department. You will contribute to the Australian renewable energy portfolio across Australia through effective data management, efficient and accurate map production and technical spatial analysis.
**What you'll do**
- Land Tenure: Obtain and verify landowner information (i.e. title searches). Support in the review of land tenure information for development activities
- Data Management: Structured and effective management of spatial data in accordance with company data management protocols.
- Spatial Analysis: Using technical expertise to undertake spatial analysis to support prospecting and development activities such as multi-criteria analysis, zone of visual influence, proximity analysis, etc.
- Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of GIS analysts, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- GIS Administration:
Oversee the maintenance and operation of GIS software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
Provide technical support to users, assisting them with GIS software, tools, and data queries. You may also conduct training sessions to educate users on how to effectively utilise GIS technology for their specific needs.
**About you**
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualification in GIS, spatial science or related field.
Skills and experience
- Experienced user of GIS software, desktop and cloud (preferably ESRI suite )
- Experience in the renewable energy industry
- Experience in a team leadership or management role
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to innovate. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team orientated environment.
