Reporting to the Assistant Store Manager and working closely with the broader leadership team, this pivotal role offers excellent opportunities for career progression and succession planning.
About The Role:
Lead and manage daily department operations to drive customer satisfaction and financial performance
Inspire and develop your team through effective coaching, feedback, and recognition
Foster a high-performance, customer-first culture by role modelling service excellence
Maximise team productivity through smart workforce planning and task delegation
Spend quality time on the floor to lead by example and gain valuable customer insights
Empower and mentor your team to become the next generation of Myer leaders
About You:
Previous experience as a Retail Manager, Area Manager or similar, ideally in Retail or Department Store environment
Strong people leadership skills with a 'hands-on', collaborative approach
Demonstrated ability to drive team performance, meet KPIs and manage performance effectively
Customer focused with superior customer service skills
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail operations
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
