What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping the unit running smoothly by providing timely, accurate and proactive administrative support to nurses, allied health staff and managers. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and Operational Director, you’ll ensure essential processes are in place to support safe, efficient patient care. In this role you will:
* Assist with workforce tasks including rostering, recruitment and leave coordination
* Perform data entry to support patient care, reporting, accreditation, and incident management
* Manage stock levels of medical supplies and equipment for daily unit operations
* Maintain key records including registrations, credentialing and staff enrolments
* Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation and action items across multidisciplinary teams
* Organise staff travel and accommodation as required
* Deliver general administrative support including referrals, scheduling and follow‑up communication

* Has Certificate III in Health Administration or willing to complete within 6 months of start date.
* Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, in both oral and written word.
* Demonstrated experience word processing, spreadsheet & database software.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines & time management.
* Experienced in using Oracle, and other ordering software for ordering medical supplies and consumables.
* Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment.
