We are seeking expressions of interest from Diploma‐qualified Early Childhood Educators for a short‐term opportunity at Morobe Children's Centre. Working across all rooms, you'll help deliver high‐quality education and care for children from birth to age 6, with access to professional development and opportunities to increase your hours throughout the week.

What you'll do
* Plan and deliver quality education and care programmes for children from birth to 6 years, aligned with relevant early years frameworks.
* Build positive relationships with children and families, supporting daily routines, wellbeing and inclusive participation.
* Observe and document children's learning, maintain learning records, and contribute to program planning.
* Maintain a child‐safe environment by following council policies, procedures and Child Safe Standards.
* Work collaboratively with educators, families and the Service Coordinator to support positive outcomes for children.
What you'll bring / qualifications
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, as recognised under the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011.
* Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations, and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
* Understanding of child development, mandatory reporting requirements and culturally responsive practice.
* Strong teamwork, time‐management and documentation skills to support children's learning and development.
Pre‐employment requirements
* CPR / First Aid
* Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
* Current Working with Children's Check
We offer
* Permanent, part‐time role (16 hours per week).
* Salary range $31,306.61 to $33,091.96 per annum plus super (dependent on experience).
* 26 weeks of paid parental leave – primary carer & 4 weeks of paid parental leave – partner.
