Role Description
This is a
full-time, on-site
role for a Production Technician located in Eastern Creek, NSW. The Production Technician will be responsible for supporting the production of pharmaceutical products by operating machinery, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and assisting in various stages of the production process, ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacture of pharmaceutical and complementary medicine products.
Core objectives include:
* Operate and Monitor Production/Packing Machine: Assist in the operation, monitoring, and adjustment of production equipment to ensure safe and efficient production processes.
* Product Preparation: Assist in the preparation of raw materials and components according to established procedures and production schedules.
* Batch Documentation: Accurately complete production batch records, logbooks, and other required documentation to ensure compliance with GMP and company procedures.
* Quality Control: Perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor.
* Machine Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, and setup of production machinery and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
* Compliance and Safety: Follow all company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations to maintain a compliant and safe working environment.
* Troubleshooting: Support the identification and resolution of minor technical issues that arise during production.
* Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance production efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
* Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemistry, or a similar discipline.
* Strong interest in learning how to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing/packing equipment.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems efficiently.
* Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance on equipment
* Strong attention to detail and Excellent Communication skills
* Experience in the pharmaceutical or nutritional supplement industry is a plus
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
