What your new job looks like
National Customer Service provides an opportunity to learn and be involved in different and varied areas of our business including Underwriting, Business Development, Compliance and Operations. The role also liaises closely with our in-house IT development team who are working tirelessly to shape the future of Strata Insurance in Australia.
Day to day you will be:-
* Answering general policy and customer enquiries
* Amending new business and renewal quotes
* Processing lapses and cancellations
* Updating and maintaining databases and in house systems
* Undertaking necessary actions to ensure we stay compliant
* Assisting with general administration tasks
About you
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Consultant will offer each of the following attributes:
* Attentiveness and a "can-do" attitude
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Proven time management skill and ability to multi-task
* Calming presence
* Goal-oriented focus
* A proven flair and passion for sales/customer relations
We'd love to meet you …
Especially if you can talk to us about your:
* A minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service environment (this could be in retail, hospitality or a call centre environment)
* An interest in insurance; and
* Ability to work in a varied and flexible environment
