Your impact
Water issues are prominent as we balance availability and demand, pollution, and resource constraints. Jacobs engineers, scientists, and planners collaborate with clients to address these water challenges. Jacobs has an opportunity for an Associate Water Engineer to join the team in Cairns, with responsibilities across the Northern Australia portfolio (Cairns, Darwin and Townsville) and the wider ANZ business.
In this role you will provide excellent consultancy, design and engineering services, manage projects to be delivered on time, on budget and to client satisfaction, and collaborate with commercial, project management and technical leaders to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of water infrastructure projects.
Key focus areas include planning, delivering and operating projects, and contributing to client satisfaction and opportunities for Jacobs in Australia and New Zealand.
What you\'ll need
* Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory requirement)
* National Professional Engineer Registration (mandatory requirement)
* Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (mandatory requirement)
* Good interpersonal skills with ability to develop others and build strong client relationships
* Understanding of industry standards and best practices
* Construction Safety Training (White Card) and current driver's license
