**ABOUT THE POSITION**:
We have a outstanding opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Hallam.
**This is a full-time position,**
**Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2 pm + overtime + weekend work when required.**
We rely heavily on our Maintenance team to ensure each shift operates without obstacles by maintaining, fixing and altering various machinery, while also working with conveyor belts, through to welding what's required.
**What will you do?**
- Implement and improve Policies and Procedures of equipment and processes, while maintaining focus on key performance indicators (KPIs and PM completion rates)
- Be proficient in reading and understanding OEM Technical manuals and drawings.
- Support operations through planning and reporting functions with our business systems.
- Responsible for record keeping of maintenance and repairs, while completing stock take for parts usage.
- Support the site where required with both mechanical and fabrication as the repair requires.
- Support the site when the plant is nonoperational, to assist with additional repairs when required, i.e. after hours, weekends and public holidays.
**Why you?**
- You have a Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical trade _(Desirable)._
- You must be competent in the mechanical maintenance & repair of processing equipment.
- You have an understanding of product/service for MRF.
- You have knowledge of and commitment to Health & Safety compliance.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have experience and interest in mentoring, coaching and training.
- You can work overtime, weekends, and/or public holidays if required.
