About The Role
As a House Manager, you will partner with a Therapeutic Specialist and Case Manager to lead the implementation of the CARE model, ensuring a safe, homelike environment that supports young people to thrive.
You will lead, motivate, and mentor a team of youth support workers, supporting young people in developing independent living skills, engaging in education, and maintaining positive connections with their care team, families, and community.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the home according to the CARE model, legislation, service standards, and policies
* Provide direct care and support to children and young people
* Be a visible, supportive leader, guiding and role modeling for your team
* Oversee therapeutic care plans to support wellbeing
* Guide your team in applying Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) techniques
* Provide reflective supervision and foster a strong team culture
Skills & Experience
* Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or related field (desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience)
* Leadership experience in services supporting children and young people, such as out-of-home care (OOHC) and Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC)
* Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, complex health needs, or behaviors of concern
* Proven leadership and supervision skills, embedding therapeutic care practices
* Current First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
* Current & Unrestricted driver’s license
Successful candidates will need to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check, and NSW Residential Care Workers Register checks.
