The opportunity:
We are searching for an experienced and proactive payroll officer to join our team on a 5 days per fortnight basis. Visualcare and MYOB experience would be highly regarded, as would experience in payroll outsourcing.
Key Responsibilities
Processing fortnightly payroll transactions
Payment of superannuation, PAYG and other regular payments
Employee onboarding and offboarding
First point of contact for payroll queries, triaging group email accounts, maintaining files and records
Data quality and validation
Payroll reconciliations and reporting
Additional hours may be needed in peak annual periods
Working in line with Interchange Australia’s mission, values and behaviours
Role Criteria
We’d like to hear from you if you have the following experience and skills:
Payroll experience; MYOB and/or Visualcare experience highly regarded
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Data entry speed and accuracy
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Capacity to work well both independently and as part of our team
Proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement
