*About the Role*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing team and play a key role in driving financial insight and operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment. The organisation has been in the manufacturing space for the last 30 years, but has recently started developing its own products across the last few years. With a start-up mindset, this role is uniquely broad, allowing you to be hands on across a range of processes and projects.
What You'll Do
* Analyse production costs, overheads, and product margins
* Partner with Finance, Operations, and Procurement to deliver data-driven insights
* Maintain cost data integrity by reviewing production orders and analysing variances
* Provide variance analysis, margin reporting, and operational commentary
* Manage the operations component of month-end close, including reporting and reconciliations
* Support process enhancements, reporting automation, and dashboard development
* Assist AP/AR functions as required
What You'll Bring
* A bubbly personality and positive can-do attitude
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 2–3 years' experience in accounting or commercial finance within manufacturing or FMCG
* Strong analytical skills and business partnering experience
* Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with MYOB Acumatica and Velixo is a plus
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
