Key Responsibilities
* Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first point of contact
* Managing phone enquiries, appointments, and patient bookings
* Processing patient arrivals, billing, and Medicare claims
* Assisting doctors and nurses with administrative tasks
* Maintaining reception area organisation and cleanliness
* Managing correspondence, recalls, emails, and daily administrative duties
* Supporting the team during busy periods to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
* Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare admin role (preferred)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with MD/Pracsoft or similar medical software (advantageous)
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team
* A friendly and professional demeanour
