About the Role
The Mental Health Clinician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based psychological therapies and care coordination for individuals with mild to moderate mental health conditions.
This includes working with people affected by Domestic, Family, and Sexual Violence (DFSV) and ensuring culturally competent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide mental health assessments and interventions across the lifespan.
2. Deliver trauma-focused psychological therapies to individuals and families.
3. Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals, and community organisations.
4. Utilise Virtual Care (Telehealth) as part of service delivery.
5. Ensure compliance with professional, organisational, and legislative requirements.
6. Engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and integrate culturally safe practices.
About You
1. AHPRA or AASW registration.
2. Experience providing clinical mental health services.
3. Strong cultural competence and commitment to Closing the Gap.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Experience working with trauma survivors (desirable).
Requirements
1. Current Driver's Licence.
2. National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
3. Compliance with vaccination and child safety frameworks.
