Overview
Marina Realty is seeking friendly, energetic, and reliable public area cleaner on a full-time basis.
As the Public Area Cleaner you will be responsible for undertaking all Public Area cleaning and duties that are assigned to you. Completion of these tasks in an effective and friendly manner is required, whilst delivering the highest level of satisfaction for our properties, owners and tenants.
To be successful in this sought after position, you will be physically fit, have excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, proven experience within a quality establishment, and above all else, pride yourself on ability to deliver cleanliness to the properties.
About the role
Reporting to the Building Manager the key duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Be responsible for ensuring the appearance of the properties public areas and thoroughfares are of the highest standard.
- Carry out various cleaning duties in all internal and external public areas of the properties, achieving established standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitisation and presentation.
- Ensure the safe use of specialised chemicals and equipment.
- Attend to the public area bathrooms ensuring cleanliness of the areas as well as sanitisation and stock levels.
- Cleaning of all common and high traffic areas throughout the property.
- Maintain a schedule and work inline with checklists and requirements.
What we are looking for
- A fast learner who is comfortable working unsupervised
- Someone who is physically fit, who will also go the extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience.
- Previous experience as a cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant in a commercial environment (ideal but not mandatory)
- Reliability & availability to work during the week, weekends, and public holidays.
- Clear communicator – ability to speak, understand, read & write in English.
- Available to work across a 7 days a week.
