Job Overview

We are seeking a Workday HCM Principal Consultant to bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. The successful candidate will guide clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday HCM solution.


Key Responsibilities

* Become a Workday HCM and Learning product expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
* Leverage expertise to recommend best solutions based on client requirements, timeframe, and flexibility to adapt scope as additional needs arise.
* Guide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and understanding of unique business requirements at all project stages.
* Regularly engage and support clients through all phases, ensuring smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday HCM solution.
* Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping clients, project team, and Engagement Manager abreast of changes or progress related to the project.
* Work alongside integration team to configure and test integrations between Workday solution and client-selected payroll and benefits providers.
* Display hands-on expertise of software, including loading customer data, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and configuring business processes and security.
* Utilize technical aptitude to convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.


Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, or related field required.
* 2+ years of Workday HCM and Learning functional implementation experience highly desired.
* 2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience required.
* 2-5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software highly desired.
* Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively manage customer expectations.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs.
