About the role
We are looking for a Rubber liner/Production Worker to join our manufacturing team at WEARMIN PTY LTD' in Carole Park, Queensland. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for the assembly and processing of our high-quality products, playing a crucial role in our production operations.
This role requires availability for day shift only.
What you'll be doing
* Carefully rubber line steel products and components to precise specifications with cold and hot bonding rubber lining methods.
* Monitoring and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. Comfortable to work with hand tools (knives, grinders/buffers, blade cutters) and with chemicals and glues to adhere rubber to steel.
* Able to operate boilers and control autoclaves for the curing of rubber during the rubber lining process.
* Performing quality checks throughout the production process to uphold our high standards
* Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements
* Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
* Undertaking other general production duties as required
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in the rubber lining industry
* A minimum of 3+ years of rubber lining experience is required
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate production equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* A commitment to workplace health and safety
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Australian work rights are required for this position
