Vetcall Ashmore has a rare opportunity for an experienced or emerging Surgical Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic and supportive team. Operating six days per week, we're known for our strong caseload, high standards of care, and genuine passion for both pets and people.

About the Role
With continued growth, we're seeking a talented nurse who enjoys all aspects of surgery, hospital care, and nurse consulting, supporting our Veterinarians and Orthopaedic Surgeon.
You'll have opportunities to develop or demonstrate your skills across anaesthesia, analgesia, imaging, dentistry, soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures, wound management, and rehabilitation.
You'll join a team that values collaboration, respect, communication, and a good laugh. You'll be supported by our experienced Practice Manager Simone and Head Nurse Rebecca, who foster a culture of support, recognition, and fun.

Our Caseload & Facilities
Our busy hospital sees a wide range of cases including routine procedures, urgent care, diagnostics, and nurse consults, as well as visits from attending specialists.
Our shared rotating roster includes surgery, hospital, non-sterile procedures, and consulting shifts.

Four consulting rooms plus a dedicated EOL suite
Nurse consulting room and workstation
Two surgery theatres
Full IDEXX in-house laboratory and pharmacy
Dental and digital X-ray, ultrasound
Staff facilities
What We're Looking For
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
Minimum 3+ years' post-qualification experience
Confidence or interest in surgical and anaesthetic procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
EzyVet experience advantageous (but not essential)
