Strategic Property and Precinct Planner
, you'll lead innovative projects that shape the future of our city.
In this pivotal role, you will:
* Drive precinct master planning and strategic property initiatives that deliver vibrant, sustainable places.
* Champion urban design responses that enhance community wellbeing and align with sustainability goals.
* Partner with stakeholders across government, industry, and community to bring bold, people-focused projects to life.
Your work will directly contribute to revitalised places, activated precincts, and shared community infrastructure that reflects our vision for a sustainable and liveable city.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Strategic Infrastructure Planning, or Project Management.
* Demonstrated experience in precinct and master planning, urban design, and property redevelopment.
* Strong knowledge of strategic property management, investment strategies, and placemaking.
* Skills in spatial and digital planning tools, with the ability to translate data into innovative design outcomes.
* A collaborative, values-driven approach with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* A current driver's licence and the flexibility to attend some after-hours meetings

This role sits within the City Futures Division working in the City Planning & Sustainability Portfolio,. Together, we are shaping the city's growth through strategic planning, sustainable development, and vibrant placemaking initiatives. This versatile portfolio promotes and supports our local businesses and has a dedicated team coordinating the sustainability and environmental strategy of our City.
The Detail:
The position is offered on a 6 month part-time fixed term basis (0.6 FTE) and is classified at Level 7, with a salary range of $123,152 - $130,596 per annum (pro-rata) + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
