SDS is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified, reliable, and motivated personnel to join our Critical Risk and Industrial Services division in the role of Critical Risk Team Member.
Position Overview
The Critical Risk Team Member is a multi-skilled position that incorporates some of the below job roles onsite:
· Emergency Response Team Leader
· Emergency Response Team
· Permit Controller
· Vessel Maintenance Supervisor
· Site Access Controller
The purpose of the Critical Risk Team Member role is to provide well-rounded personnel with the capability of managing and responding to all critical risk tasks onsite.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining operational readiness.
* Participating in ongoing Professional Development Activities.
* Reporting all issues and concerns through the correct channels.
* Ensuring documentation is accurately completed and records maintained.
* Applying professional conduct at all times.
* Attend all rostered shifts punctually and maintain a professional standard of reliability.
* Be available to work either day shifts, night shifts or weekends.
* Complete the Occurrence Logbook accurately to document all high risk work and occurrences throughout the shift.
* Verify the induction pass of all personnel entering the compound, ensuring no unauthorised persons are granted access.
* Monitor the vessel’s Fire and Gas Alarm Systems and respond in accordance with site procedures.
* Support Emergency Response Team in ensuring all workers are accounted for and mustered in the case of an emergency.
* Conduct site permitter checks and routine security walk-arounds.
* Lock and unlock fenceline gates in line with operational requirements.
* Promptly report all incidents, alarms, hazards, or irregularities.
Essential Criteria
* HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
* HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
* Hold a current Construction Induction Card
* Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
* Gas Test Atmospheres
* Work Safely at Heights
* Issue Work Permits
* Industry experience (desirable)
* Eligible to obtain National Police Clearance and Defence Clearance
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

* First Attack Firefighting
