About The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced nursing leader to manage the newly integrated palliative care service across Grampians Health and the broader Grampians region. This pivotal role oversees high‑quality palliative care delivery across inpatient, outpatient, community and consultancy settings.
Working in close partnership with the Head of Unit, you'll provide consistent, united leadership to ensure patients, families and carers receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place. You'll lead service improvement, strengthen regional partnerships and support teams to deliver culturally safe, person‑centred and evidence‑based care in a complex and evolving environment.
What You'll Do
Lead integrated palliative care services across multiple settings
Drive service improvement, innovation and safe care delivery
Partner with regional services to strengthen care pathways
Support, develop and lead multidisciplinary teams
Oversee operational, financial and workforce responsibilities
Skills & Experience
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Postgraduate qualification in palliative care or related field
Strong leadership and operational management capability
Deep knowledge of palliative and end‑of‑life care models
Proven ability to lead change in complex health settings
