Location: Adelaide North/North East
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
* In-home domestic tasks – Because sometimes helping someone feel at home means tackling Mount Laundry or becoming the Jedi of the vacuum cleaner.
* Manual handling – You'll be trained up to lift safely and support clients with care (and maybe squeeze in a mini workout while you're at it).
* Food preparation & service – Channel your inner MasterChef You'll help create healthy meals that nourish body and soul.
* Medication observation – Keeping an eye on the important stuff — you don't need to be a pharmacist, just switched on and responsible.
* Personal care – Dignity, respect, and compassion are key. You'll help clients with daily routines while building genuine trust.
* Assistance with daily living – From getting ready for the day to winding down in the evening, you'll make life that bit easier (and brighter).
* Transport to medical appointments & social outings – You might just become a professional road-trip DJ or expert snack supplier.
* Supporting independence – Helping people learn, grow, and do things for themselves, because empowerment is everything
What You'll Need in Your Support-Superhero Toolkit
* NDIS Worker Screening Check – We can help you get this sorted
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module – We'll send you the links.
* Infection Control Training - We can assist
* National Police Check
* Driver's Licence – You and your car will be best friends.
* Cert III in Individual Support, Disability or Mental Health – Don't have it yet? We can help you get qualified
* Lived Experience – Highly regarded (because empathy can't be taught)
