About The Property
The Gragin Aggregation is a 4,000 Ha (2,400Ha cropping) mixed farming property located 30km north-east of Warialda and 55km north-west of Inverell. With ~2,500ha of crop and grazing country (1,290ha currently cropped and further transformation underway), Gragin grows barley, wheat, canola, sorghum and forage oats, with both winter and summer harvest programs supported by casual seasonal labour.

About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Farm Hand to join the Faulkner Farming team at the Gragin Aggregation. This is a hands-on role supporting mixed cropping and grazing, with responsibility for operating and maintaining agricultural machinery, completing seasonal tasks, and contributing to the care and monitoring of livestock and farm infrastructure.
You’ll be responsible for supporting day-to-day farm activities from sowing to harvest and the safe and reliable operation of machinery and equipment through effective servicing, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities Include
Operating and maintaining farm machinery for planting, harvesting and general operationsOverseeing daily machinery use and maintaining service and maintenance recordsAccurate record-keeping of chemical use, inventory, and compliance documentationLivestock, pasture, fencing and water infrastructure management (as required)General farm maintenance and improvement worksSupporting safe work practices and compliance standardsProviding guidance and on-the-job mentoring to General Farm Hands

You’re practical, reliable, and take pride in running a tidy, efficient operation. You enjoy leadership on the ground and want to be part of a professional, well-resourced farming business.
Ideally, You Will Have
Proven experience as a Senior Farm Hand or similar rolePractical experience in machinery operation and maintenance skillsSound understanding of farm safety and complianceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood record-keeping and organisational skillsA positive attitude and willingness to mentor others
