About the role
As the Payroll & Roster Manager at the Australian Aged Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our payroll and rostering operations. This full-time position is based in Mount Eliza, Victoria, and involves managing a team to deliver accurate and timely payroll processing and rostering for our aged care facilities.
What you'll be doing
1. Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including timesheet management, payroll calculations, and compliance with relevant awards and legislation.
2. Manage the rostering for care and nursing staff, ensuring appropriate coverage and adherence to work agreements.
3. Handle recruitment of care and nursing staff.
4. Implement and maintain efficient payroll and rostering systems and processes.
5. Analyze data and generate reports to support business decision-making.
6. Liaise with internal stakeholders such as HR and finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll and rostering.
7. Stay up-to-date with relevant payroll and employment regulations to ensure compliance.
What we're looking for
* Experience in a rostering management role, preferably within the aged care or healthcare industry.
* Strong understanding of payroll processing, award interpretation, and rostering best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
* Proficiency in using payroll and rostering software, with the ability to implement and maintain efficient systems.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
