They're a fast-growing, product-driven business with a unique in-house platform that connects growers with the agritech industry, helping them manage their data more efficiently and make smarter decisions.
Half the business is made up of their dedicated development team (4 full time devs + 1 contractor). The other half is a support team/call centre that provides frontline user feedback, helping them continually improve the product.
The platform is well established but continues to evolve, with 18+ months of work already in the pipeline. The entire business relies on the development team to deliver across two core systems, making this a key role within the organisation.
The Role
We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (React, TypeScript, .NET, Azure) to step into a role with real ownership and influence.
This is a true full stack role (around 50% frontend and 50% backend), where you'll be hands-on day to day, but also actively guiding less mature developers, shaping technology decisions, and contributing to architecture and infrastructure direction.
You'll work in a two-week agile sprint cycle, collaborating closely with the development team. A major focus will be upgrading React from version 16 to 19, keeping frameworks up to date, and driving adoption of the newest versions and technologies in a controlled way that minimises risk to the business.
This position goes beyond development: around 70% of your time will be hands-on coding, 15% guiding and mentoring the team, and 15% scoping and exploring new technologies. You'll present recommendations on which technologies to adopt, oversee implementation, and ensure the systems continue to scale effectively.
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ year's experience (senior/lead level)
- Strong experience in React and TypeScript
- Solid experience in .NET backend development
- Exposure to and interest in Azure cloud services
- Experience with infrastructure and architecture direction
- Ability to guide and mentor less experienced developers
- Strong interest in keeping up with the latest frameworks, versions, and industry best practices
This role is based out of their Toowoomba office once a fortnight, with travel to this location essential for in-house collaborative workshops.
The offered salary is $160k + Super DOE, and the company offers a clear progression pathway.
