The Western Australian Council of State School Organisations (WACSSO) is the peak body representing Parents and Citizens' Associations across WA public schools.

We are currently seeking a capable and highly organised Office Coordinator to join our East Perth office in a full-time capacity.
This is an office-based role that plays a central part in maintaining our positive, productive culture and supporting the smooth operation of the organisation.
About the Role
The Office Coordinator provides front line support to members, assists with governance administration, and ensures the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly.
You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation across a range of administrative, operational and service delivery activities.
What you will do
* Triage and allocate incoming service requests
* Provide Level 1 support via phone, email, social media and live chat
* Deliver calm, professional and solutions-focused service to members and stakeholders
* Escalate complex matters appropriately
Governance & Executive Support
* Assist with State Council and Executive meetings including logistics, scheduling and documentation
* Provide administrative support to the CEO
* Coordinate travel arrangements for staff and Councillors
* Maintain accurate records and information management systems
Office Operations
* Manage day-to-day office administration
* Coordinate suppliers, vendors and building logistics
* Maintain phone and office systems
Events & Conference Support
* Assist with logistics for the annual WACSSO Conference and State Council meetings
* Coordinate artwork, student engagement and event materials
* Support extended hours during peak event periods (overtime or time in lieu provided in accordance with Award requirements)
Finance & Partnerships Support
* Assist with accounts receivable and payable administration
* Support partnership initiatives and income projects
* Coordinate partnership administration
Additional Adhoc Administration Duties
* As required
What you will bring
* We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised, reliable and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
* Experience in reception, call centre, administration or customer service roles
* Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* High emotional intelligence and discretion
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a small team
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365
* Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
* Alignment with volunteer-led and community organisations
* Police Clearance required.
* Experience working with volunteer committees or P&Cs
* Interest in learning Dynamics CRM, Power Automate or Power BI
