The role entails operational support for the organization's SharePoint Online environment, involving BAU requests management and ensuring compliance with the approved configuration model. The position also assists in enhancing the Digital Workspaces platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Action and resolve incoming SPO-related incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs. Escalate complex issues to senior administrators or vendors as required.
* Manage SharePoint permissions, including site, library, and list-level access in line with SOPs. Implement and maintain SharePoint and 365 groups in accordance with governance standards.
* Create, configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, and lists as per the approved configuration model. Apply and enforce IA standards, including global term store management and column configuration.
* Identify and remediate non-compliant sites, libraries, and content to align with the approved configuration model. Support periodic audits and reporting on compliance status. Assist in implementing enhancements such as global navigation, hub site configuration, and template deployment. Contribute to SOP updates, knowledge articles, and user guidance materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Knowledge of how to configure and administer SharePoint Online components
* Familiarity with Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
* Ability to identify and resolve common SharePoint Online-related issues
* Effective communication with end-users to resolve support tickets and provide clear team communication
* Experience using enterprise incident management and ticketing systems
* Governance, Information Architecture, and Compliance principles
* PowerShell PNP module experience
* Ability to obtain an active NV1 Clearance for access to PROTECTED Information Resources
