**About the Role**
The primary role of a TAFE SA Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. HPI's may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Lecturer in Marine Mechanical Technologies to join the Automotive Workgroup at TAFE SA's Regency Campus on a casual basis. In this role, you will deliver engaging, industry-relevant training to students pursuing careers in marine mechanics.

**Criteria**:
- A trade qualification at Certificate III level or equivalent in Marine Mechanical Technologies.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or later) or evidence of working towards it.
- Proven experience in the marine mechanic industry, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Up-to-date technical skills and knowledge in marine mechanical systems, including the ability to implement flexible delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant software, operating systems, and e-learning platforms in the marine industry.
- A solid understanding of training, assessment practices, and the challenges faced in adult education, including psychosocial safety risk management.
**Other criteria**:
- Understanding of adult education challenges, including psychosocial risk management.
- Must be currently eligible to live and work in Australia;
