We currently have an opportunity for a permanent Production Operator on Afternoon Shift at our Nestle Broadford Factory.
Responsibilities include maintaining product quality, achieving production targets and maintaining a high standard of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Main duties of the position:
* Participate in safety programs including Shift Risk Prediction/Take 5, Workplace Safety Inspections, defect tagging and key standard routines
* Follow workplace quality assurance procedures and techniques
* Complete standard practices/procedures of an operator
* Share learnings and adopt procedural improvements to reduce/eliminate line loss
* Complete SAP transactions / Digital Manufacturing Operations administration as required
* Undertake improvement activities in the workplace as required
* Maintain a clean and hygienic work area
* Other duties as required by the Line Manager
The following qualities are considered desirable for this role :
* Work safely and within the guidelines of site work instructions
* Time management skills & the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision- flexibility to work overtime as required
* Effective problem-solving skills
* Experience working in a team environment to meet the production schedule
* Attention to detail and data entry accuracy
* Basic knowledge of the use of email and ability to enter data
