About the role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Assistant to join our team at Experienced Office Furniture in Lambton, NSW. As a full-time Delivery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our high-quality office furniture to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the loading and unloading of furniture deliveries
Carefully transport and deliver furniture to client sites
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive delivery experience
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle
Collaborate with the wider warehouse and logistics team to optimise delivery schedules
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
A valid driver's licence and experience driving delivery vehicles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture
Knowledge of warehousing and logistics operations is desirable
