We are seeking a qualified Parkland Manager to join our team in the Dandenong Valley Parkland and Wattle Park area of Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

As a Parkland Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of park management services across the region. This includes track, assets and vegetation maintenance, road and carpark maintenance, and visitor services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land, asset, resources and facilities management, with practical skills and experience in the maintenance and operation of small power equipment and tools.

Additionally, we are looking for candidates with excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a range of park management services across the Dandenong Valley Parkland and Wattle Park area of Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.

Develop and implement effective strategies for track, assets and vegetation maintenance, road and carpark maintenance, and visitor services.

Work collaboratively with the Ranger Team Leader and other stakeholders to achieve park management goals.

Provide exceptional customer service and communication to internal and external stakeholders.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by demonstrating Parks Victoria's organisational commitments.

Requirements:

Awarded Authorised Officer (AO) accreditation or willingness to obtain AO training.

Practical skills and experience in the maintenance and operation of small power equipment and tools.

Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
