An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Consultant – Multimorbidity to join our Mental Health and Specialised Services team. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will work collaboratively with a range of internal and external providers and organisations. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will be responsible and accountable for the role modelling of consumer focused, evidence-based, trauma informed, and recovery focused nursing care.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non‑clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
* Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
* Nominated as Medicine Store and S8 Safe Manager as per the Substance Management Plan for SCHHS Regulated Places, as required.
* Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
Remuneration value up to $138 284 p.a., comprising salary rates $66.85 - $72.58 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (part time position, 64 hrs p.f.).
