We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced teachers/tutors to support the delivery of our Vocational Information and Communications Technology (ICT) courses in 2024. CQUniversity offers VET units in blocks of 9 or 20 weeks, with casual staff contracted based on student enrollments in each block.
Please note this is a casual pool. Your expression of interest remains valid for 12 months. You will only be contacted if suitable casual work becomes available during this period.
Position Requirements
Teacher
* A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher qualification in adult education, or equivalent.
* Relevant vocational qualifications at or above the level of the courses to be delivered, such as industry certificates, diplomas, degrees, or master's qualifications.
* Several years of industry experience in at least two of the following areas:
Discipline Areas:
* Network planning, installation, and configuration
* Network security
* Virtual computing
* Cyber Security
* Project Management
* Business needs analysis
* PC Hardware and software technical support
Qualifications and/or experience meeting recognized occupational competency standards relevant to the field and instructional level are required. Additionally, experience in PC Hardware and software technical support is necessary. TAE Delivery and/or Assessment skills are desirable.
