HV Test Technicians / Engineers – 16-Day Shutdown
ERM is seeking experienced HV testing personnel for a 16-day shutdown commencing mid-July. ERM is also recruiting for regular technicians for shutdowns throughout the year across multiple sites.
We are engaging multiple specialists across the following disciplines:
Cable Tester
About the work
You'll be part of a tight-knit team delivering a high-intensity HV testing and maintenance scope during a planned shutdown window. The job suits experienced contractors who can hit the ground running, work to tight schedules, and produce clean, defensible test records.
Test equipment you'll be working with
Candidates do not need to be proficient across all of the below, but proficiency in multiple fields is highly desirable:
* Omicron CMC 356 – Relay injection testing
* DV Power TRT – 3-phase transformer turns ratio
* DV Power RMO – Transformer winding resistance
* B2 HVA PDTD68 – Cable PDTD testing
* B2 HVA PDTD68 – DC hipot testing
* B2 HVA VLF tester
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience in HV testing on industrial, mining, or port assets
* Relevant trade qualification(s) and certificates
* LVR/CPR - within 12 months
* Ability to interpret and produce test reports to client and standards requirements
* WA Electrical Worker's Licence (or equivalent recognised credential, where applicable to role)
* Current HV Switching authorisation (preferred)
* Strong safety culture — site inductions, JHA/SWMS, isolation procedures second nature
* Self‐sufficient on tooling, capable of working day or night shift across a 16-day window
* Roy Hill | NSR | BHP | FMG Inducted (highly advantageous)
