Position Description
An opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer Officer to join a reputable global company on an immediate basis. This role is focused around investing into discrepancies and resolving accordingly, reconciling contractor invoices against transactional data, and other ad hoc tasks. This is a contract position, with the opportunity for longer-term.
The company is located in Western Sydney and has parking on site. They offer hybrid working arrangements (3 days from office, 2 days from home) and are flexible with start and finish times. The successful candidate must be able to start immediately or in 1-2 weeks notice.
Working Within An Accounts Payable Team, Your Responsibilities Include
* Reconciling contractor invoices against transactional data
* Investigating and resolving discrepancies
* Liaising with the offshore team and providing support as required
* Resolving supplier queries via email and phone;
* Ad hoc accounts support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the accounts payable team.
The successful applicant should have:
* Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role
* SAP System Experience
* Experience process high-volume payments
* Excellent communication skills
* Be a team player
