About The Role
This role is a senior technical and people‐focused position, supporting the consistent delivery of high‐quality base build architecture across the studio. You'll provide oversight, guidance and mentoring to project teams, strengthening documentation outcomes and supporting delivery excellence.
* Review base build projects across design development and documentation to ensure quality, compliance and buildability
* Act as a technical specialist, providing clear direction on architectural detailing, coordination and delivery standards
* Support project teams by identifying risks, resolving technical issues and escalating where required
* Mentor and coach architects and graduates, contributing to individual development and overall team capability
* Collaborate closely with Project Leaders, Design Leaders and Consultants to align design intent and documentation outcomes
* Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation systems, templates and technical standards
* Play an active role in fostering a collaborative, design‐led and supportive studio culture
About You
You're an experienced architect with Infrastructure and Data Centre project experience who brings a strong technical lens, enjoys supporting others, and takes pride in lifting the quality of work across a team.
* Substantial experience delivering and reviewing architectural base build projects, ideally across medium to large‐scale infrastructure and data centre projects
* Advanced technical knowledge of architectural documentation, building systems, codes and consultant coordination
* Confidence providing clear, constructive review and guidance to project teams
* Demonstrated experience mentoring or supporting junior and mid‐level staff, or a strong interest in developing others
* Highly organised, detail‐oriented and pragmatic in your approach to problem solving
* Design‐led but delivery‐focused, with a strong appreciation of how documentation underpins successful built outcomes
* Architecture qualification meeting APE registration requirements; registered or on the pathway (we're open to varied career profiles)
