Teacher: Education Support
St Joseph’s School Waroona seeks a suitably qualified and motivated teacher to join our team in a part-time role (0.4 FTE – two days per week). The successful applicant will work across the school providing targeted support in literacy and numeracy for students requiring additional assistance.
This role involves working collaboratively with classroom teachers to support student learning through small group instruction, intervention programs and in-class support. The position would ideally suit a teacher seeking a flexible part-time role who is passionate about supporting students to achieve success in their learning.

Selection Criteria
Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic ethos of St Joseph’s School. Ability to support students requiring additional assistance in literacy and numeracy. Experience delivering small group or targeted intervention programs. Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers, leadership team and support staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to be flexible, organised and responsive to the changing needs of a busy primary school environment. Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, staff and families.
Qualifications Required
Relevant teaching qualification. Current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA). Experience teaching in primary education. Experience supporting students in literacy and numeracy programs (favoured but not compulsory). Current Working With Children Check.
