Situated in the coastal town of Woy Woy on the Central Coast of NSW, we are conveniently located 45 minutes' drive from Sydney. Brisbane Waters Private Hospital is a 132-bed hospital supported by a team of dedicated professionals. We provide patient-centred care in Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation, Drug & Alcohol and Mental Health inpatient services and outpatient day program services to the community of the NSW Central Coast.
We pride ourselves on the delivery of patient-centred care, specialising in surgical, medical and rehabilitation, along with operating the Central Coast's largest private addiction and mental health facility.

Themajor function of the Career Medical Officer (CMO) is to provide medical supervision for private patients of hospital accredited Visiting Medical Officers (VMO). About you
Joining a team of like-minded professionals, you will leverage your previous experience in delivering quality patient-centred care. To ensure your success, you will have the following:
* Current ALS 2 and paediatric resuscitation skills including cannulation, arterial and venous puncture and fluid resuscitation
* Comprehensive understanding of Deteriorating Patient protocol and support nursing staff in the implementation of Deteriorating Patient protocol adult and paediatric
* Surgical assistant skills for emergencies
* Ability to identify deviations in diagnostic results and to appropriately act/manage and notify VMO accordingly
* Ability to communicate all matters relating to patient care to visiting medical officers effectively
* Ability to work effectively, as a team member, in a multidisciplinary environment
* Demonstrate organisational and time management skills
* Capacity to work on a rotating roster and on call basis. Must be available for weekend work.
* Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience adequate to undertake the roles required of a CMO level 2 or above position.
* A comprehensive knowledge of hospital clinical governance
Essential Requirements
* Registered Medical Practitioner
* Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
* Current medical indemnity insurance to treat patients in a private hospital
* Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
* Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination and immunisation history is mandatory and must be provided prior to commencement of employment.
* This is a Category A (High Risk)
* Right to Work Documentation
* 100 Points of ID
* Capacity to work on a rotating roster and on call basis - must be available for weekend work
