About the role
The role undertakes research and analysis and assists with the preparation of documentation to support the effective operation of External Relations Policy.
The role liaises and consults with other areas of the department and a range of external stakeholders to seek and provide information and advice.
The role is suitable for graduates from an arts, education or related field.

6. Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders and managing large amount of correspondence.
7. Communication skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams to ensure the effective management and timely delivery of quality advice.
9. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
10. A degree from a higher education institution within Australia or outside Australia and recognised within the guidelines of the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition.
11. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
