Due to our current expansion, an exciting opportunity has become available in our Sunshine Coast head office for a Rapid Decline Supervisor to join our team.
The Role
* Rapidly identify and assess "potential exclusion" claims through triage with the Claims & Make Safe teams.
* Conduct virtual assessments alongside trades while maintaining clear and respectful customer communication.
* Prepare insurer‑grade assessment reports, scopes and costed estimates for timely decision‑making.
* Maintain accurate insurer PDS exclusion lists to support fast, evidence‑based outcomes.
* Collaborate with Claims and Make Safe teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions of reports and documentation.
* Manage internal systems and client portals including Scope‑IT, ATMOS and Cherwell.
* Balance cost control with high‑quality reporting to reduce claim costs and avoid unnecessary works.
* Ensure work aligns with Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
* Provide outstanding customer service, always acting professionally and impartially.
* Support a positive, team‑focused work environment and adopt flexible, multi‑trade solutions.
What You'll Need
* Ability to diagnose causation and prioritise activities effectively.
* Excellent organisation skills in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with mobile technology for report/data submission (desirable).
* Positive, "can‑do" approach and willingness to embrace change.
* High attention to detail with consistent quality outcomes.
* Knowledge of construction‑related OH&S requirements.
* A genuine customer‑focused mindset and strong integrity.
