What you'll experience
What you'll do
Deliver a competitive cost for products to achieve the category\'s profit metrics.
Work with Product Development teams to balance COGs and quality.
Determine and develop appropriate sources of supply and maintain cooperative relationships with suppliers to stay current with trends and technologies.
Negotiate contracts on existing portfolio and assist with negotiations on new products.
Deliver COGS reductions aligned to the strategic supply base and quality level.
Understand supply base capability and identify opportunities; nurture new supplier relationships for long-term competitive advantage.
Review, refine and amend supplier strategies to manage competition.
Maintain and update Competitor Pricing Analysis.
Maintain and update Contract Review Schedule.
Monitor range KPIs to ensure supply continuity and contract volume consumption.
Review levels of Dumps, Clearance, Out of Code, Unknown and Known shrinkage; identify root causes and apply actions to minimise losses.
Ensure supplier compliance with supply expectations and targets.
What you'll bring
Minimum 2 years experience in Retail/Commercial function at equivalent level.
Strong understanding of product componentry and cost makeup of goods.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and impact on Cost of Goods.
Knowledge of local and international sourcing processes and capabilities.
Solid organisational and project management skills.
