Project Architect / Senior Architect - Pathway to Associate
Are you a Project Architect or Senior Architect ready to take on greater ownership and leadership within a respected national design practice?
Our client is seeking an experienced architect who can confidently run projects end-to-end and play a leading role within the studio. You will operate as a Project Leader on smaller projects and as the 2IC on larger, complex projects — working closely with senior leaders while building your pathway toward Associate level.
This is a highly regarded studio with professional, grounded and well-respected Directors who are known for delivering significant commercial, defence, community and civic projects nationally. You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio — from crafted smaller-scale works through to large, technically complex projects for government and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
* Leading smaller projects end-to-end from concept through to completion
* Managing programme, resourcing and delivery expectations
* Ensuring design intent and quality are maintained throughout
* Managing stakeholder communication and relationships
* Supporting fee management and variations where required
Design & Technical Oversight
* Providing design direction and technical resolution
* Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project requirements
* Mentoring graduates and emerging architects
* Supporting team development and project workflow
* Contributing to a positive and collaborative studio culture
Leadership Growth (Associate Pathway)
* Exposure to broader studio operations
* Involvement in project planning and strategic delivery discussions
* Opportunity to contribute to business development and client growth
* Progression toward increased studio influence and responsibility
About You:
You will bring solid architectural experience and be seeking the next step in your leadership journey.
You are confident running projects, coordinating consultants and engaging directly with clients. You're comfortable taking ownership and guiding junior team members while ensuring strong design and technical outcomes.
You may have experience in large-scale commercial or civic projects, or you may have developed strong end-to-end delivery skills in a smaller practice and are ready to step into more complex work.
Ideally you have
* Strong Revit capability
* Solid technical and documentation skills
* Confidence working with clients, consultants and builders
* A collaborative and proactive approach
