And that's where you come in.**Job Description:**Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated **HSE Advisor** who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The position is a FIFO role based in Pilbara.The primary purpose is to contribute to the HSE team's goals to influence positive attitudes and behaviours that foster a positive safety culture, ensure continuous improvement and good corporate governance.Key responsibilities:* Providing technical advice and coaching including safety leadership, risk management, HSE systems, incident investigation, inspection and monitoring, training.* Conduct audits of project operations, the HSE Management System and its implementation for compliance and continuous improvement.* Assist with the implementation of control measures to address HSE risk and ensure monitoring and reviews for effectiveness is undertaken.* Facilitate the communication and consultation of necessary HSE information/ lessons learned, across all sites in the project.Skills & Experience:* 3+ years' experience in a high-risk industry; engineering / railway / construction* Diploma of Work Health and Safety* Ability to build HSE capability and safety leadership; managers, employees, and contractors* Ability to influence and drive safe behaviours and performance through building effective relationships and engagement* Demonstratable knowledge and experience of operating within ISO45001, ISO9001 and ISO14001 systems & AS/NZS is essential* Highly proficient computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Office suite and other computer programs* Investigator Qualification* Agile mindset, able to take prompt decisions in a challenging environment* Demonstrates perseverance, patience and commitment for long term successAt Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
