Description About The Role We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at an aged care facility in Kingscliff on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be integral in enhancing the dining experience for residents, focusing on delivering positive service and fostering a welcoming mealtime environment. Duties include basic kitchen preparation, such as making salads and sandwiches. Roster This part-time position requires availability for 4 days per week, including weekends Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM What This Role Involves Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties Skills And Experiences The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service Previous contract catering experience (desirable) Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations Excellent presentation and communication skills Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments What We Offer Hospitality industry pay super and penalties On-site parking is available Uniform provided Staff benefits and retail discounts (450 stores nationwide!)
