Job Description
- Ensure the successful rollout of a new waste supplier to all locations across the state of QLD.
- Develop and implement category strategies for facilities management to drive cost savings and value creation.
- Lead supplier negotiations and manage key supplier relationships to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain for facilities management categories.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance against established KPIs.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven expertise in procurement, specifically within facilities management categories.
- Outstanding onboarding experience - ensuring a smooth transition from outgoing and incoming vendors.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills to manage suppliers and achieve cost savings.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers effectively.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- A relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field is highly regarded.
- You must hold appropriate Australian work rights.
