Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you will manage and develop a defined product portfolio, driving growth through innovation and new product development. At ASSA ABLOY, product leadership through innovation is a core strategic objective—and you'll play a critical role in setting the strategic direction for your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a deep understanding of market segments through lifecycle management, pricing, market share, and profitability analysis.
* Generate actionable insights by anticipating changes in customer needs, competitor behavior, regulations, and emerging technologies.
* Refine and adapt portfolio strategies to align with business objectives and organizational strengths.
* Conduct customer and end‑user research to validate use cases for future products and technologies, particularly in the smart home space.
* Deliver strategic planning assets such as Generation Plans and Product Roadmaps.
* Collaborate across multi‑regional development teams to execute product roadmaps—from concept and design through to market launch.
* Drive projects through the established Gateway Process, ensuring seamless execution from insight to post‑launch review.

You thrive in fast‑paced environments and can balance multiple priorities to deliver exceptional results. You're a strong communicator, adaptable, and confident in managing diverse stakeholders. You enjoy problem‑solving and take a hands‑on approach to gathering insights and making informed decisions.
Key Requirements:
* Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience in new product development.
* Excellent organizational skills and experience contributing to cross‑functional teams.
* Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion.
* Strong business acumen with a track record of turning market insights into compelling business cases.
* Experience in the retail hardware or locking industry is advantageous.
