Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented payroll professional to join our team in a role that requires delivering accurate and timely payroll services using Aurion.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in government or a similar setting, navigating enterprise agreements, legislation, and complex payroll scenarios. They will be comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team, taking pride in accuracy and being proactive in solving issues before they escalate.
In this role, you will process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for staff, interpret and apply legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements, manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits, assist with superannuation, taxation, and leave management, maintain employee records in Aurion, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in payroll processing and compliance
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll laws and regulations
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
