Overview
Happen Business is part of the Jonas Software Group of Companies that acquires, manages, and builds industry-specific software companies globally. Jonas Software has over 100+ acquired companies and 2,500+ employees globally. Happen Business is seeking a talented Back End Developer (.NET) to join our Research and Development team. This role is responsible for delivering quality enhancements to Jim2 and related products as directed. You will work remotely with the development team to take projects, improvements, and fixes from specification through to coding implementation, build, and unit testing, all within the team’s Agile methodology.
Responsibilities
- Use technical skills to complete software development tasks.
- Implement unit and automated tests as required.
- Assist the implementation team with product implementation as needed.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure suitable testing is done and resolve defects.
- Provide customer-focused high-level support as required.
Qualifications
- Tertiary degree or equivalent experience in software development.
- 2 or more years of development experience.
- Required Skills: C#, .NET Core; Delphi, PowerShell, MSSQL (all desirable).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and simply, both orally and in writing.
- Collaborative and dedicated to achieving team goals.
- Logical and analytical, with a methodical and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Accurate, with high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and keen to learn and share knowledge.
- Able to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure.
- Very strong work ethic and professional approach.
